"Carol & Skip ... Always together!"

Catoctin Kennel Club lost a good friend with the death of longtime member Carol Manley on Monday, August 26, 2013.

Carol had been an active presence around CKC until the past year when health issues really slowed her down. We have her to thank for our great bulletin board, the Wall of Fame, and the "No Bones About It" wall that shows our instructors.

For many years Carol was our primary hospitality person, organizing lunches (sometimes providing us with her wonderful baked treats and sometimes in brown bags stamped with dog motifs).

Carol never entered a ring, but was always there to support her husband, Skip, as he showed his dogs and served as an obedience instructor.

CKC does indeed feel her loss and most certainly will miss and long remember her. Viewing will be on Thursday and the funeral on Friday, details to be announced.
