    Class Prices -
    10 Week 30 Minute Puppy Classes ... $130 per dog.
    8 Week 90 Minute Open/Utility Foundation ... $180 per dog.
    8 Week Obedience/Rally Classes ... $130 per dog.
    6 Week Obedience/Rally Classes ... $100 per dog.
    4 Week Obedience/Rally Classes ... $65 per dog.

    PREREGISTRATION IS A MUST
    Deadline September 16/17, 2024 or until classes fill.

    $10 Late Fee for registrations received after the deadline.
    Check must accompany registration. All human students must be at least 14 years old.

    Class Descriptions

       Puppy (Under 4 months)

    This class is designed to introduce puppies to new surroundings, new people and other animals. Behavioral characteristics of young puppies will be discussed. Puppies will start to learn to sit, down and come in a fun environment.
      S.T.A.R. Puppy (Over 4 to 9 months)
    This class continues the skills learned in the Puppy. Beginning obedience activities will be introduced.
      Tricks (1 Year & Older)
    This class focuses on the AKC Tricks title program teaching the dog tricks.
      Basic Fundamentals & CGC
      (Over 9 months)
    This class works on developing a trust between you and your dog so that you can work as a team. Concepts taught include loose leash walking, sit, down, wait, stay and come. Students will also prepare for the Canine Good Citizens Test. This class may be repeated several times until the desired level of control is achieved.
      Advanced Basic
    This class continues working and building skills taught in Basic and starts teaching formal training preparing for the obedience ring. It provides the foundation for the Novice level. This class may be repeated several times.
      Novice
    This class is for students attempting to earn a CD title. Exercises appropriate for the degree are taught. Heeling, stand for examination, recalls, stays and rule book interpretation is part of this class. Students may remain in the Novice class until they have earned their CD.
      Open
    This class is for students attempting to earn a CDX title. Exercises appropriate for the degree are taught. Retrieving, drop on recall and rule book interpretation is part of this class. Students may remain in the Open class until they have earned their CDX.
      Beginning Utility
    This class is open to students (with permission from Lamar) who are just starting the utility exercises and not trialing in any venue.
      Utility
    This class is open to students who are working on their Utility title or those who are already trialing in Utility.
